Who co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs and designed the Apple I?
Answer
Steve Wozniak
Answer
Steve Wozniak
Steve Wozniak co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs and designed the Apple I.
Wozniak was the principal engineer behind the Apple I, a circuit board computer introduced in 1976. Unlike many hobbyist computers of the period, it could connect to a keyboard and television with comparatively little additional construction, although buyers still had to supply a case, power supply, and other components.
Jobs recognized that Wozniak’s design could be sold as a product. The pair demonstrated the computer to the Homebrew Computer Club and secured an order from the Byte Shop in Mountain View, California.
Ronald Wayne was also an original partner, but he did not design the Apple I. Mike Markkula later provided business support and investment. Jef Raskin joined Apple later and became associated with the Macintosh project.
