Toy Story 3 is the Toy Story film set partly at Sunnyside Daycare.

In the film, Andy's toys are donated to Sunnyside before Andy leaves for college. The daycare initially appears welcoming, but Lotso and his allies assign the toys to a rough room where younger children repeatedly damage them.

The daycare setting drives the film's central conflict. Woody discovers that Sunnyside is controlled by Lotso, a strawberry-scented teddy bear who has created a hierarchy favoring toys in the Caterpillar Room. The toys eventually escape and expose Lotso's betrayal.

Sunnyside is not the entire setting: the story also includes Andy's home, a garbage facility, and the climactic landfill sequence. The daycare is nevertheless the film's principal new location and a key reason Toy Story 3 feels different from the earlier adventures.
