Which studio hosted most of the soundstage filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

The story behind the answer

Pinewood Studios in England hosted most of the soundstage filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The production used the studio alongside location work in Scotland and other parts of England.

Pinewood provided controlled environments for scenes that would have been difficult or impractical to shoot on public streets. The production also recreated parts of Queens there, building the equivalent of about three city blocks with an emphasis on rooftops.

The film’s use of both Glasgow locations and Pinewood sets helped create a consistent New York setting. Glasgow supplied real streets and public spaces, while Pinewood allowed the filmmakers to control stunts, lighting, set construction, and visual effects.
