Moray Towers is a stage based on the vertically layered urban battle arena from Nintendo’s Splatoon series. Its platforms are arranged across tall buildings and sloping walls, creating a distinctive layout with multiple elevations and uneven routes between the left and right sides.

The stage’s design echoes Splatoon’s focus on movement across walls and vertical spaces. In Smash, however, fighters cannot freely ink and swim through the environment as they do in Splatoon. Instead, the architecture creates unusual recovery paths and encourages players to fight across different heights.

Several other Splatoon locations can cause confusion. Urchin Underpass and Walleye Warehouse are stages from Splatoon, while Inkblot Art Academy is another Splatoon arena. They are not the Splatoon stage used in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
