Dude Wipes is the Shark Tank company that sells personal-hygiene wipes marketed primarily to men.
The company was founded by brothers-in-law Brian Spater and Sean Riley, along with their friend Jeffrey Brous. They developed the product as a larger, more masculine-branded alternative to conventional personal wipes and positioned it for use after bathroom visits, exercise and travel.
The founders appeared on Shark Tank in 2015 and accepted an investment from Mark Cuban. The company later expanded into toilet paper, body wipes and other hygiene products.
The word “flushable” has generated important consumer-safety discussion across the wipes industry. Even when products are labeled flushable, wastewater agencies often warn that wipes can contribute to sewer blockages and recommend disposing of them in a bin. Product packaging and local utility guidance should be followed.
