Which producer helped create KPop Demon Hunters after Maggie Kang first presented the concept?

The story behind the answer

Aron Warner helped produce KPop Demon Hunters after Maggie Kang first presented the concept.

Warner became involved when Kang brought him the early idea for a story combining Korean heritage, mythology, demonology, and K-pop. His producing role helped move the concept toward development as an animated feature at Sony Pictures Animation.

The project eventually became a collaboration involving Kang, co-director Chris Appelhans, screenwriters Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan, and a large music team. Warner’s contribution belongs to the production side rather than the directing or soundtrack-performance side of the film.

Several names connected to the film can sound interchangeable because they all worked on major parts of it. Chris Appelhans co-directed, Teddy Park was a key music producer, and Marcelo Zarvos composed the score. Aron Warner is the producer associated with helping Kang develop the original concept into the feature project.
