Sally Carrera is a Porsche 911 Carrera and the town attorney in Radiator Springs in Pixar’s Cars.
Sally left a successful career as an attorney in California to live in Radiator Springs and operate the Cozy Cone Motel. She becomes one of Lightning McQueen’s principal friends and helps him understand the town’s history and the damage caused by the new highway bypass. Her interest in Route 66 reflects the film’s wider affection for historic roadside communities.
Bonnie Hunt voices Sally Carrera. The character’s name combines the Porsche model with the Spanish word “carrera,” meaning race or career. Sally’s vehicle design is based on a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera, giving her a distinct visual identity among the older American cars in town.
