Which pen name did J.K. Rowling use for the 2020 novel Troubled Blood?
Answer
Robert Galbraith
Answer
Robert Galbraith
J.K. Rowling used the pen name Robert Galbraith for the 2020 novel Troubled Blood.
Troubled Blood is the fifth novel in the Cormoran Strike series. It was published in 2020 and continues the investigations of private detective Cormoran Strike and his partner Robin Ellacott. Like the preceding books, it was credited to Robert Galbraith.
Robert Galbraith is Rowling’s crime-fiction pseudonym, not the name of the detective. Cormoran Strike is the fictional investigator at the centre of the series, while Robin Ellacott is his investigative partner.
The title should also not be confused with Rowling’s Harry Potter books or with The Casual Vacancy, her first adult novel. Those works were published under Rowling’s public author name, whereas the Strike novels retain the Galbraith credit.
