Which NHL coach led the Los Angeles Kings to the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014?

The story behind the answer

Darryl Sutter led the Los Angeles Kings to Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and 2014. He became the Kings’ head coach during the 2011–12 season, replacing Terry Murray, and quickly helped transform the team into a playoff powerhouse.

Los Angeles entered the 2012 playoffs as the Western Conference’s eighth seed but defeated Vancouver, St. Louis, Phoenix, and New Jersey to win the first Stanley Cup in franchise history. Two years later, the Kings completed another remarkable run, overcoming a 3–0 series deficit against San Jose before defeating the New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup Final.

The main mix-up is with coaches from other Kings eras: Marc Crawford coached Los Angeles from 2006 to 2008, while John Stevens succeeded Sutter later. Sutter is the coach associated with both championship seasons.
