Atlas is the new Toy Story 5 character voiced by Craig Robinson.
Atlas is designed as a GPS-themed hippo toy equipped with navigation-style features. The character belongs to the sequel’s new generation of toys, whose electronic functions reflect the film’s central conflict between traditional playthings and technology. Robinson’s recognizable comic voice helps distinguish Atlas from the returning Toy Story cast.
Atlas is easy to confuse with the other new characters. Dr. Nutcase is a peanut-shaped daredevil toy, Smarty Pants is a toilet-training tech toy voiced by Conan O’Brien, and Snappy is a camera-themed toy voiced by Shelby Rabara. Those names are all associated with Toy Story 5, but Craig Robinson’s role is specifically Atlas. Robinson is also known for television and film comedy, including The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Toy Story 5 is directed by Andrew Stanton and continues the story after Toy Story 4.
