Which new character is introduced as Mrs. Potato Head in Toy Story 2?

Mrs. Potato Head is introduced in Pixar’s Toy Story 2.

She is the partner of Mr. Potato Head, the removable-parts toy who appeared in the original Toy Story. In the sequel, Mrs. Potato Head is already part of Andy’s toy collection and quickly becomes a recognizable member of the group. Her design uses the same interchangeable facial and body pieces associated with the classic Potato Head toy.

The character helps broaden the ensemble’s family-like relationships, especially through her interactions with Mr. Potato Head. Later Toy Story films give her additional dialogue and group scenes, including moments involving the toys’ adventures outside Andy’s room.

Mrs. Potato Head should not be confused with other later toy characters such as Dolly, Trixie, or Stretch. Those characters belong to the expanded group introduced in subsequent films, while Mrs. Potato Head first appears in Toy Story 2.
