Bruce Bochy led the San Francisco Giants to three World Series titles in five years, winning in 2010, 2012, and 2014.
Bochy became the Giants' manager in 2007 after previously managing the San Diego Padres. His 2010 club defeated the Texas Rangers for San Francisco's first World Series championship since the franchise moved west. The Giants repeated the achievement in 2012 by sweeping the Detroit Tigers.
In 2014, San Francisco defeated the Kansas City Royals in a seven-game World Series. That victory made Bochy the first National League manager to win three World Series championships in a five-year span. The achievement is sometimes confused with the Giants' earlier New York-era titles, but Bochy's three championships were all won after the franchise was based in San Francisco.
