Jean Grey uses telepathy in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Telepathy is the ability to perceive or influence thoughts and minds. Jean uses this power to possess people and move from one host to another, making her a threat that Spider-Man cannot always identify by sight.
Jean also has other psionic abilities, including telekinesis and possession. Telekinesis involves moving objects with the mind, while possession concerns taking control of another person. Telepathy is the specific mental ability associated with reading or controlling minds.
Sadie Sink plays Jean in the film. This version presents Jean as a young mutant who is still learning to manage her abilities while searching for her sister Sara, who was taken by the Department of Damage Control.
