Answer
The British Library
The British Library hosted the 2017 exhibition Harry Potter: A History of Magic.
The exhibition opened at the British Library in London in October 2017, marking the twentieth anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It connected the subjects taught at Hogwarts with real historical traditions, manuscripts, books, and objects held by the library.
Displays covered topics such as potions, astronomy, charms, divination, herbology, care of magical creatures, and the history of magic. Visitors could see material relating to alchemy, dragons, unicorns, fortune-telling, and medieval beliefs. Rowling contributed previously unseen writing and drawings for the exhibition.
The event was not a film set or a permanent Harry Potter attraction. It was a research-based library exhibition examining how folklore, mythology, science, and historical texts relate to ideas in the novels. A companion publication, also titled Harry Potter: A History of Magic, was issued in connection with the exhibition.
