Slovenia is the landlocked European country home to Mount Triglav, its highest peak.
Triglav rises to 2,864 metres in the Julian Alps and is Slovenia’s highest mountain. Its distinctive profile appears in Slovenian national symbolism, including the country’s coat of arms, where it is represented above stylized waves.
