The Cormoran Strike series follows private detective Cormoran Strike.

Rowling writes the series under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. The first novel, The Cuckoo’s Calling, was published in 2013 and introduces Strike, a former military investigator who opens a London detective agency. Robin Ellacott begins as his temporary secretary and becomes a central professional partner.

The books are modern crime novels rather than Harry Potter fantasy. Major entries include The Silkworm, Career of Evil, Lethal White, Troubled Blood, The Ink Black Heart, and The Running Grave.
