Sacred Tears are used at Sites of Grace to strengthen the Flask of Crimson Tears and Flask of Cerulean Tears. They are usually found inside churches across the Lands Between, often beside a statue associated with Marika. Each upgrade improves the restoration provided by an individual flask charge.

Sacred Tears are distinct from Golden Seeds, which increase the total number of charges rather than the amount restored. Larval Tears serve a different purpose: they are used for rebirth, allowing a character’s attributes to be redistributed after the relevant story encounter.
