Which Great Rune does Elden Ring’s boss Godrick the Grafted drop?

Godrick the Grafted drops Godrick’s Great Rune in Elden Ring.

Godrick is the ruler of Stormveil Castle and one of the game’s early major shardbearer bosses. Defeating him awards both his Remembrance and Godrick’s Great Rune, which is initially inactive and must be restored at the Divine Tower of Limgrave.

Once activated and equipped, the rune raises every attribute by five points while the player has an active Rune Arc. This makes it broadly useful because it improves health, stamina, equipment load, weapon requirements, and spellcasting-related attributes at the same time.

Godrick’s Great Rune is different from his Remembrance. The Remembrance can be exchanged at Roundtable Hold for a weapon or spell, while the Great Rune provides a temporary character-stat benefit. Other shardbearers drop different Great Runes, each with its own effect and restoration location.
