Answer
The Black Keys
Answer
The Black Keys
The Black Keys released the 2011 album El Camino.
El Camino is the American duo’s seventh studio album and followed their commercial breakthrough, Brothers. Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney recorded it at Easy Eye Sound in Nashville from March through May 2011, working with producer and co-writer Danger Mouse.
The album was designed around energetic, hook-heavy songs after the band found some of Brothers’ slower material difficult to reproduce live. Its sound draws on rock and roll, glam rock, rockabilly, surf rock, soul, garage rock, and blues rock.
Nonesuch Records released El Camino on December 6, 2011. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, while “Lonely Boy” became the group’s best-charting single in several countries. The Arcs, Jack White, and The White Stripes are related distractors through collaborations, members, or stylistic associations, but they did not release this album.
