Answer
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the first J.K. Rowling Harry Potter novel to feature the Triwizard Tournament.
Published in 2000, the fourth novel places Hogwarts in an international magical competition with two visiting schools: Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute. Traditionally, one champion from each school competes in three dangerous tasks, but Harry is unexpectedly selected as a fourth champion.
The tournament tasks involve a dragon, an underwater rescue, and a maze. The final task leads Harry to a graveyard where Lord Voldemort returns to physical form, marking a major change in the series’ tone and conflict.
The book is also notable for introducing Rita Skeeter as a journalist, Mad-Eye Moody as a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, and the house-elf Winky. The film adaptation was released in 2005.
