Which Formula 1 driver won at least one Grand Prix in every season from 2007 through 2021?

The story behind the answer

Lewis Hamilton won at least one Formula 1 Grand Prix in every season from 2007 through 2021.

Hamilton’s streak began with his maiden victory at the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix, his first full season with McLaren. It continued after he moved to Mercedes in 2013, where he won six of his seven championships and became one of the sport’s most successful drivers.

The run lasted 15 seasons and ended in 2022, when Hamilton completed a season without a race victory for the first time in his career. He returned to the winners’ circle at the 2024 British Grand Prix.

This record concerns consecutive seasons with at least one Grand Prix win, not consecutive race victories. Hamilton also achieved long winning streaks within individual seasons, but those are separate statistical marks.
