Max Verstappen holds the Formula 1 record for most wins in a single season, taking 19 victories in 2023.
Verstappen won the 2023 World Drivers’ Championship with Red Bull Racing and produced one of the most dominant seasons in the sport’s history. His 19 wins came from 22 Grands Prix, while Red Bull won every race except the Singapore Grand Prix.
The season included a record streak of 10 consecutive Grand Prix victories, beginning at the Miami Grand Prix and ending at the Italian Grand Prix. Verstappen also scored 575 championship points, another season record under the scoring system then in use.
The record is separate from the number of championships a driver has won. Verstappen’s 2023 campaign was his third title season, following championships in 2021 and 2022.
