Max Verstappen became the first Formula 1 driver to win 10 consecutive Grands Prix in 2023.
The record-breaking run began with the 2023 Miami Grand Prix and continued through races in Emilia-Romagna, Monaco, Spain, Canada, Austria, Britain, Hungary, Belgium and the Netherlands. Verstappen completed the sequence at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.
His 10th straight victory surpassed Sebastian Vettel’s previous record of nine consecutive wins, set across the end of the 2013 season. Verstappen’s run came during a dominant campaign for Red Bull Racing.
Verstappen went on to win the 2023 World Drivers’ Championship, his third title. Red Bull also won the Constructors’ Championship after winning every race of the season.
