Which film series did J.K. Rowling co-produce after writing its screenplay?

J.K. Rowling co-produced the Fantastic Beasts film series after writing its screenplays. The series expands the wizarding world beyond the Harry Potter storyline and is set decades earlier.

The first film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, was released in 2016. It follows magizoologist Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, as magical creatures escape in New York City. Rowling wrote the screenplay, which was her first produced screenplay.

The series ultimately consisted of three released films: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Crimes of Grindelwald, and The Secrets of Dumbledore. It should not be confused with the fictional Hogwarts textbook of the same name, which Rowling also published as a charity companion book.
