Which Dragon's Den entrepreneur was born Keith Valentine?

The Dragon's Den entrepreneur born Keith Valentine is Levi Roots.

Levi Roots is the professional name of Keith Valentine, a Jamaican-British musician and entrepreneur. He became famous to a broad British television audience after appearing on Dragon's Den to pitch Reggae Reggae Sauce, a Caribbean-style sauce brand.

The name Levi Roots was not created solely for the programme. Roots had already used it as a musical identity, and it became the name attached to his food business. This is why questions about his identity can produce two apparently different names: Keith Valentine is the birth name, while Levi Roots is the public and commercial name.

His television appearance is significant because it linked entertainment, cultural identity and business branding. The product's success depended on more than the pitch itself, including production and retail expansion. Nevertheless, the Dragon's Den appearance remains the defining televised event in the public story of the brand.
