Which entrepreneur joined the BBC business show Dragons' Den as a Dragon in 2021, becoming its youngest-ever investor?

The story behind the answer

Steven Bartlett joined Dragons' Den as a Dragon in 2021, becoming the show's youngest-ever investor.

Bartlett was born in Botswana in 1992 and became known for co-founding the social-media marketing agency Social Chain with Dominic McGregor. The company grew rapidly after its launch in 2014, helping establish Bartlett as a prominent young entrepreneur.

He first appeared as a Dragon in the twentieth series of the BBC programme. His appointment broadened the panel's range of experience into digital media, online communities and technology-focused businesses.

Bartlett is sometimes confused with Sara Davies, who also joined the panel as a relatively young entrepreneur. Davies joined earlier, in 2019, while Bartlett became a Dragon in 2021. His role also differs from that of Nick Jenkins, whose background was in online retail and who served on the panel before Bartlett.
