Norway topped the medal table at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics with 39 medals.
Norway won 14 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals, producing a total of 39. Its success was especially strong in cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, and other Nordic events.
Germany finished second in the overall table with 31 medals, while Canada placed third with 29. The United States won 23 medals. Norway’s 14 golds tied Germany’s total, so Norway’s higher overall medal count secured the top position.
Medal-table rankings can differ depending on whether they are ordered by gold medals or total medals. In PyeongChang, Norway led under the standard gold-first ranking and also had the highest total. The 2018 Games were held from 9 to 25 February in South Korea.
