Which company developed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard?

The story behind the answer

Capcom developed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was created by Capcom as the seventh mainline installment in the Resident Evil series. It places Ethan Winters in a Louisiana plantation while he searches for his missing wife, Mia, and introduces the Baker family as major antagonists and story figures.

The game marked a major stylistic shift for the series. It uses a first-person viewpoint rather than the third-person or fixed-camera approaches associated with many earlier entries. Capcom also used its proprietary RE Engine, which was created for the game and later supported several other Resident Evil projects.

The title's name varies by region: it is called Biohazard 7: Resident Evil in Japan and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in many other markets. That naming difference is why the Japanese title can look reversed even though it refers to the same Capcom game.
