Lotso is the main antagonist of Pixar’s Toy Story 3.
Lotso, whose full name is Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, appears at Sunnyside Daycare as its seemingly kind leader. He smells like strawberries and initially presents himself as a welcoming, experienced toy who can give Andy’s toys a new home.
His history explains his bitterness. Lotso was once owned by a girl named Daisy, but after being lost, he found that Daisy had received a replacement bear. Lotso interpreted this as abandonment and became determined to control other toys.
Lotso is voiced by Ned Beatty. The character is often remembered for his strawberry scent and pink plush design, while the film’s other major threats include the daycare’s authoritarian rules and the garbage facility’s machinery.
