Which character is Elden Ring’s main weapon blacksmith in Roundtable Hold?

Smithing Master Hewg is Elden Ring’s main weapon blacksmith in Roundtable Hold. He upgrades the player’s weapons and plays an important role in the game’s story.

Hewg is a Misbegotten imprisoned in the Hold. He works under an arrangement connected to Queen Marika, and his dialogue reveals that he has been tasked with forging a weapon capable of killing a god.

At the anvil, Hewg uses Smithing Stones to improve standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to improve special weapons. He can also duplicate certain Ashes of War, giving him a practical role beyond ordinary dialogue.

Master Iji is another important blacksmith, but he is located in Liurnia and is associated with Blaidd and Ranni’s questline. Iji is therefore a frequent answer to a question about a blacksmith, but he is not Roundtable Hold’s resident smith.
