Which car is the main villain of Pixar’s Cars 2?

Miles Axlerod is the main villain of Pixar’s Cars 2.

Axlerod is introduced as a former oil tycoon who has become an electric car and created the World Grand Prix. His public campaign promotes Allinol, a supposedly clean alternative fuel, but the scheme is designed to discredit alternative energy and increase demand for oil.

The plot eventually reveals that Axlerod is the mastermind behind the attacks on World Grand Prix competitors. He uses a camera-based weapon to make Allinol-powered cars appear to explode, then attempts to manipulate global opinion.

Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell are spies investigating the conspiracy, while Mater becomes involved despite not being a trained agent. Axlerod’s identity is therefore central to the espionage story, not merely to the race competition.
