The sole car brand featured in Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed is Porsche.
Released in 2000, Porsche Unleashed was built around a single manufacturer rather than a broad multi-brand vehicle roster. Its cars are Porsche sports cars spanning roughly five decades of the company’s history, from the 1950 Porsche 356 through contemporary models such as the 996-generation 911.
The game’s Evolution mode turns that history into a progression system. Players begin with early Porsche models and advance toward newer, faster vehicles. Factory Driver mode adds structured challenges, including slaloms, stunts, deliveries and races, with the long-term goal of becoming a Porsche factory driver.
Regional naming can cause confusion: the game was called Need for Speed: Porsche 2000 in much of Europe and Need for Speed: Porsche in Germany and parts of Latin America. Although the series normally includes many manufacturers, Porsche Unleashed is deliberately centered on Porsche. BMW, Lamborghini and Ferrari are not the game’s featured brand.
