Which Australian rules football club plays home matches at Kardinia Park, also known as GMHBA Stadium?

The story behind the answer

The Geelong Cats play home matches at Kardinia Park, also known as GMHBA Stadium.

Kardinia Park is in Geelong, Victoria, and is the principal home ground of the Geelong Football Club. The stadium has had several naming-rights titles, but Kardinia Park remains its traditional geographic name.

Geelong is unusual among modern Victorian AFL clubs because it plays many home matches at a regional stadium rather than using the Melbourne Cricket Ground or Docklands Stadium as its main home venue. The club also plays selected matches at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The Cats are one of the VFL/AFL’s oldest clubs, joining the VFL in 1897. Their home-ground identity is closely connected with Geelong and the strong regional support surrounding the club.
