Which Airbus business jet family is based on the A320 airliner?

The story behind the answer

The Airbus ACJ320 family is the Airbus business jet family based on the A320 airliner.

Airbus Corporate Jets, commonly abbreviated ACJ, adapts Airbus commercial aircraft for private, government and corporate use. The ACJ320 family is derived from the A320 narrow-body platform and can be fitted with executive interiors, private bedrooms, lounges and meeting areas instead of a standard airline cabin.

The ACJ320 family includes business-jet versions related to the A319, A320 and A321. Individual aircraft may be marketed with model names such as ACJ319neo, ACJ320neo and ACJ321neo, depending on the airframe and engine generation.

The ACJ319 is often treated as the best-known Airbus corporate jet, but it is one member of the broader A320-based family. The ACJ350 and ACJ330 families are based on wide-body aircraft and serve a different size and range category. Airbus Corporate Jets is part of Airbus’s wider commercial-aircraft business.
