The Airbus A320 family was assembled at Airbus’s first U.S. commercial-aircraft assembly line in Mobile, Alabama.
The Mobile assembly line opened in 2015 and initially produced A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. It gave Airbus a major manufacturing presence in the United States and placed production closer to many North American airline customers.
The facility is located at Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley and became part of Airbus’s wider global production network. A320-family aircraft are also assembled in Europe and China, while other Airbus commercial-aircraft programs use different final-assembly locations.
This question concerns the aircraft family produced at the original Mobile commercial-aircraft line, not every Airbus aircraft associated with the site. The A330 and A350 are wide-body aircraft with separate production arrangements, and the A380 was assembled in Toulouse.
