Which actress played Drusilla?

The actress who played Drusilla is Juliet Landau.

Landau portrayed Drusilla, the psychic Victorian woman who becomes a vampire after Angel torments and turns her. Drusilla first appears in Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s second-season premiere “School Hard,” where she arrives in Sunnydale with Spike, her longtime vampire companion.

Landau’s performance helped make Drusilla distinctive: she combined a soft, childlike manner with unsettling visions, cruelty, and unpredictable speech. Landau chose a Cockney accent for the character, drawing partly on the production’s Sid-and-Nancy-inspired conception of Drusilla and Spike.

Drusilla appears across Buffy and its spin-off Angel. Landau is sometimes confused with other Buffy actresses: Charisma Carpenter played Cordelia Chase, Eliza Dushku played Faith Lehane, and Amy Acker played Winifred “Fred” Burkle. Landau later co-wrote a Drusilla-focused Angel comic story.
