Which actor played Leon S. Kennedy in the 2023 Resident Evil 4 remake?

Nick Apostolides played Leon S. Kennedy in the 2023 Resident Evil 4 remake.

Apostolides provided Leon’s voice and performance capture for Capcom’s remake. He had already portrayed the character in the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2, making the role a continuation of his version of Leon as the character develops from rookie police officer into a highly trained government agent.

The 2023 remake retains Leon’s mission to rescue Ashley Graham while revising the story, character interactions, combat systems, and atmosphere of the 2005 original. Apostolides’ performance is therefore associated with the modern remake continuity rather than the original game’s voice cast.

Several other actors are easy to confuse with him. Paul Mercier voiced Leon in the original 2005 Resident Evil 4, while Matthew Mercer voiced Leon in the 2012 game Resident Evil 6. Paul Haddad portrayed Leon in the original Resident Evil 2. These are different performances of the same long-running character.
