Answer
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is the 2016 film screenplay by J.K. Rowling set in the Harry Potter universe.
The film follows magizoologist Newt Scamander in New York in 1926, decades before Harry Potter’s time. Eddie Redmayne plays Newt, and the story introduces a different community of witches and wizards from the one centered on Hogwarts.
Rowling wrote the screenplay, making it her screenwriting debut. The film takes its title from a fictional Hogwarts textbook that also inspired a real charity book published in 2001. Two sequels followed: The Crimes of Grindelwald in 2018 and The Secrets of Dumbledore in 2022.
