Spider-Man: Brand New Day became the first Spider-Man film to pass $2 billion worldwide.
The milestone was reached on August 16, 2026. It also became the second-fastest film overall to reach $2 billion, following its rapid performance after opening with $932 million worldwide.
This record concerns worldwide theatrical revenue, combining reported grosses from the United States, Canada, and international territories. It is different from the film’s domestic ranking and from its opening-weekend record.
The achievement placed Brand New Day above earlier live-action and animated Spider-Man releases in cumulative global earnings. It also contributed to the film becoming the highest-grossing film of 2026 at the time reported.
