What was the title of Little Mix’s 2012 debut studio album?

The story behind the answer

Little Mix’s 2012 debut studio album was titled DNA.

Syco Music released DNA on November 19, 2012. The album followed Little Mix’s victory on the eighth UK series of The X Factor in 2011 and collected songs that established the group’s harmony-led pop style. Its title track, “DNA,” was released as a single before the album and reached the top three of the UK Singles Chart.

The album also included “Wings,” Little Mix’s first UK number-one single. Other tracks explored dance-pop, R&B, and ballad styles, showing the quartet’s vocal blend rather than presenting them only as a television-created act.

DNA is sometimes confused with Salute, Little Mix’s second studio album, released in 2013. Glory Days came later in 2016 and became one of their most commercially successful albums. The members on DNA were Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall.
