What was the name of the Apple campus street associated with Steve Jobs’s later headquarters?

The story behind the answer

The Apple campus street associated with Steve Jobs’s later headquarters was called Infinite Loop.

Infinite Loop was the street address of Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, before Apple Park opened. The address became closely associated with Apple during Jobs’s second period as the company’s leader, when the company developed products such as the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad.

The name refers to an endless loop in computer programming. Apple’s main buildings around the site were commonly identified by numbered addresses on Infinite Loop, and the campus was sometimes informally called the “IL” campus.

Infinite Loop is not the same as Apple Park, Apple’s circular headquarters campus that opened to employees in 2017. Apple Park’s official address is One Apple Park Way. The two locations are both in Cupertino, but Infinite Loop is the older headquarters strongly associated with Jobs’s modern Apple era.
