The first studio album by English-Canadian girl group All Saints was All Saints.
Released in 1997, the self-titled album introduced Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton as a major pop act. It combined pop, R&B, and dance influences and became one of the defining British girl-group albums of the late 1990s.
The album included the singles “I Know Where It’s At,” “Never Ever,” and “Under the Bridge.” “Never Ever” became the group’s first UK number-one single and remains their best-known song. The album itself reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and later received multi-platinum certification.
The title can cause confusion because All Saints also released later albums, including Saints & Sinners in 2000 and Red Flag in 2016. “Pure Shores” is a song by the group, not an album title. The self-titled record is therefore the specific answer when asking for their debut studio album.
