Answer
The Tales of Beedle the Bard
The first published Wizarding World book by J.K. Rowling after the Harry Potter novels was The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
Bloomsbury and Scholastic published the book in December 2007, shortly after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows concluded the main series. It contains five fairy tales presented as wizarding folklore, including “The Tale of the Three Brothers,” which is central to the final Harry Potter novel.
In the story, Albus Dumbledore’s notes accompany the tales and explain their cultural significance. The book therefore functions both as a collection of fictional children’s stories and as an in-world artifact connected to Harry’s adventures. Proceeds from the original edition supported the Children’s High Level Group, a charity Rowling helped establish.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages were published earlier, in 2001, as charity companion books. They are Wizarding World titles, but not books published after the completed seven-novel sequence.
