Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth film in Tom Holland’s MCU Spider-Man series.
The preceding films are Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Holland returns as Peter Parker, continuing the story after the world forgets Peter’s identity because of Doctor Strange’s spell.
The film is both a sequel and a new starting point. Peter is older, living alone, and concentrating almost entirely on protecting New York City as Spider-Man. The story therefore moves beyond the high-school-centered structure of the first trilogy.
This count refers specifically to Holland’s MCU series. It does not include the earlier live-action Spider-Man films starring Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, nor animated Spider-Man features.
