What is the title of the Pixar short-film series featuring Mater's exaggerated adventures?

Mater's Tall Tales is the title of the Pixar short-film series featuring Mater's exaggerated adventures.

The series is part of Cars Toons and follows Mater as he tells stories about supposedly extraordinary events from his past. The tales include becoming a fire truck, a stunt performer, a Tokyo-style drift racer, and a rock star. Lightning McQueen usually appears as Mater's listener and occasional companion.

The humor comes from the gap between Mater's confident storytelling and the increasingly implausible events he describes. The shorts use the Cars world for brief, self-contained comedy rather than continuing the feature-film plot in a conventional way.

The first Mater's Tall Tales short, Rescue Squad Mater, debuted in 2008. The franchise later expanded with other Cars Toons shorts, including Tales from Radiator Springs, so the larger Cars Toons name should not be substituted for the specific series title.
