What is the title of the eighth and final Harry Potter film?

The eighth and final Harry Potter film is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

Released in 2011, the film adapts the concluding portion of Rowling’s seventh novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they return to Hogwarts and confront Voldemort and his forces in the Battle of Hogwarts.

The final novel was split into two films. Part 1 was released in 2010 and covers the trio’s search for Horcruxes while they are on the run. Part 2 focuses more heavily on the final battle and the resolution of the central conflict.

The film series therefore contains eight movies despite the source series containing seven main novels. Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was directed by David Yates, who also directed the preceding three Harry Potter films.
