What is the title of the 2019 sequel to Zombieland?

The 2019 sequel to Zombieland is titled Zombieland: Double Tap.

The film reunites Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock as they travel through a zombie-infested United States. It is set roughly a decade after the first film and expands the world with new types of zombies, including faster and more resilient variants.

Ruben Fleischer directed both films. The returning central cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. The sequel also introduces characters played by Zoey Deutch, Avan Jogia, Rosario Dawson, and Luke Wilson.

“Double tap” refers to one of Columbus’s survival rules: shoot a zombie twice to make sure it stays down. The title therefore connects directly to the first film’s rule-based comedy. The movie was released in 2019, ten years after the original Zombieland.
