In Zombieland, which actor plays the survivor known as Tallahassee?
Answer
Woody Harrelson
Answer
Woody Harrelson
Woody Harrelson plays the survivor known as Tallahassee in Zombieland.
Released in 2009, Zombieland follows four travelers crossing a zombie-ravaged United States. Harrelson’s Tallahassee is an aggressive, highly capable survivor whose driving obsession is finding a Twinkie. His blunt personality contrasts with Columbus, a cautious young man who organizes his behavior through a numbered list of survival rules.
Jesse Eisenberg plays Columbus, Emma Stone plays Wichita, and Abigail Breslin plays Little Rock. The group’s shifting trust creates the film’s emotional center, while the comedy comes from their arguments, improvised tactics, and encounters with the undead. Ruben Fleischer directed the movie from a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Zombieland is also known for a cameo by Bill Murray, who appears as himself. That appearance is separate from the role of Tallahassee, a distinction sometimes lost when cast members are discussed together. The film’s success led to the 2019 sequel Zombieland: Double Tap, which reunited the principal cast.
