What is the title of J.K. Rowling’s 2020 children’s book about a magical pig?

The Christmas Pig is J.K. Rowling’s 2020 children’s book about a magical pig.

The Christmas Pig tells the story of Jack, a boy whose favorite toy pig is lost on Christmas Eve. A replacement toy, the Christmas Pig, comes to life and guides Jack through a magical search in the Land of the Lost. The story focuses on love, loss, courage, and the emotional importance of treasured objects.

It was Rowling’s first children’s novel after the Harry Potter series that was not connected to the wizarding world. The book was published internationally in October 2021, despite being announced during 2020. This timing can cause confusion with The Ickabog, another standalone children’s book that Rowling released online in installments during 2020.
