The family living in Castle Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village is the Dimitrescu family.
Lady Alcina Dimitrescu rules the castle and is one of the four major lords serving Mother Miranda. Her daughters Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela also inhabit the castle and pursue Ethan Winters during his search for his kidnapped daughter, Rosemary.
The castle is one of four major areas in the game’s village setting. Its aristocratic architecture, maze-like rooms, and vampire-inspired enemies give this section a different atmosphere from the game’s other locations. Lady Dimitrescu’s unusually tall appearance became one of the most recognizable features of the game before release.
Players sometimes mistake the names of the castle’s inhabitants for separate family names. Dimitrescu is the surname shared by Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters, while Beneviento, Moreau, and Heisenberg identify other major lords and their territories.
